SIRAP was commissioned by Visit Victoria to capture Melbourne during a unique moment in time – throughout the lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Directed by Paris Thomson and team, the film employs a voyeuristic lens, capturing the fabric of the city; the textures, expressions and character of the built environment and the light and shadowplay which dance around it.

The film was distributed across the Visit Victoria channels, with a second TVC piece commissioned immediately after, to capture the expressions of the city’s Hospitality and Restaurant industry as the city prepares to re-open.
